Our Little Hairdresser
Marley has already decided what she wants to be when she grows up. Today when we were watching tv Marley would pick up random things and start combing her hair. So I decided to give her a pick. She carried it every where with her. We are so blessed to have her in our lives she is such a joy to have.

Our New Home
Last year my parents moved to phoenix and stayed with us in our little home. A few months after they moved in Marley was born. It was at that time that we decided it was time to get a bigger house. It felt like if you were to take a picture of our house it would be bulging at the seems with all our stuff sticking out of it and about to explode. My dad got a job offer and moved back to Wyoming and Marvin and I decided to get serious about a new home. We talked to some people and found that we were a lot closer to getting a new home than we thought. We called up our realtor and started looking at houses. It was fun at first but after a while I started thinking we weren't going to be able to find exactly what we want and we would have to settle on something.
Marvin and I agreed that we wouldn't settle and we would leave it up to the Lord. So we prayed for help. After a couple of weeks of praying and looking we went and looked at a tri level. At first I wasn't to excited but once we went in we both fell in love. We put an offer in and played the waiting game. Our realtor called and said that there were multiple offers and that it would be a week or so before we would find out.
There were so many offers on our house that they had to take it off the market so people would stop putting in offers. It was getting to be a while and we started to get discouraged. Marvin and I just told ourselves that they had given the house to someone else and that we should just keep looking. However the Lord had a plan for us and it was to be in that house. Out of all the offers they chose our offer and we are now the proud owners of a 2400 sq ft home. It has 4 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms, a fire place, a swimming pool and a HUGE back yard. Below are the pictures of our new home. Marvin wanted to get a house that we could fix up so we could make it ours. He is working on it right now as I type this.

Can you Say Scavenger Hunt?
A few weeks ago Marvin and I got together with his brother Nathan and his wife Tarin and we put together a scavenger hunt through out the city. Both couples came up with a list of 25 things to find in the city. We took our camera and had to take pictures with us and the object on the list. We had a blast doing it. It was so much fun!
This one is hard to see but it is a car parked in a Handicap parking space that is not Handicapped
The Scavenger Hunt was a lot of fun. After the hunt was over we all headed to Applebees for dinner and compared our scores. I think Marvin and I ended up winning I'm not sure. We also started thinking of ideas for the next one, all agreed that we needed to do it again and have more people. Thank you Nate and Tarin for talking us into doing this fun activity. We look forward to the next one.
