Road Trip!!!!

After all the wedding stuff was done it was time for me to travel back home. Marvin wanted to drive so we loaded up in the car and headed out. Marvin took me to see the houses that him and his dad did. They were all very beautiful. Then we got back in the car and drove some more.

We drove until we got to marble canyon and had to get out and stretch our legs. The canyon was really pretty. After the canyon we drove for about 2 hours and it started getting dark. We were almost to the Utah state line and Marvin looks in his mirrors. This car was following us really close. It was kind of scary but then the lights came. Yep you guessed we got pulled over. The cop was really nice and gave us a warning for our headlight being out. We drove some more trying to dodge all the cops. We got some dinner and headed to grandma's. There was a car in front of us that pulled over. Right as we passed it we got pulled over again. It was for the same thing. This cop was a jerk about it. Asking us why we didn't have it fixed. Marvin's asked him where we are supposed to be able to get it fixed in the middle of no where. He then reminded us to get it fixed after we argued about the time that we got the warning and he let us go. We finally made it to
grandma's.

The next day Marvin got the headlight fixed and we head out.
Marvin took me to see the house that momma Lunt grew up in.

On our way home we went to Manti. We got to stop at the temple. It was so exciting seeing the place were we would be sealed together forever! After that we went home : )

Our Temple

Isn't it beautiful!!!

Marvin and I were sitting at the temple watching Nate and Tarin get there pictures done and Momma Lunt decided she want some pictures. So we let her take them.

A Girls Day

I promised Madison that I would do a girls day with her. We painted each others nails and talked girl talk. When we got done with our fingernails we moved on to others. Madison painted Marvin's nails and when Carson and Garret saw they wanted theirs done to and of course we couldn't leave Sydni out. We had a blast doing nails : )

Madison does a Great Job!

They are just so happy : )

Forever Your's

This is a slideshow that my dad is putting together for our wedding reception. You only get to see the intro so you'll have to come to see the rest muhahah (that's my evil laugh)

Nate and Tarin's wedding

On March 7Th Marvin's brother Nate got married in the Mesa AZ temple. Nate was married to Tarin Sanders. It was a beautiful day!. The temple was so busy that day that there no parking left in the temple parking lot, or in the church parking across the street.
Since I wasn't endowed yet I afford to watch Amy's kids for her. We walked around the temple grounds. The girls looked at all the pretty flowers while the boys played with there toy RVs. We found a ramp and the boys were in love. Sydni watched the boys race there RVs and she had to race her little car to. It was really cute! Then they told me they had to go to the bathroom. I took them over to the visitors center. After everyone was relieved, Carson found a model of Jerusalem. All the kids were amazed, so I let them stay and look at it for a while.
After a while of being at the visitor center I noticed that it was almost time for Nate and Tarin to come out. We all waited in excitement to congratulate the happy couple. Because there were so many people getting married they all had to take shifts to get there pictures done. It seemed like it took forever for Nate and Tarin's turn. Finally it was there turn. They came out of the temple with the biggest smiles on there faces. They looked so happy.

Coming out of the Temple

Aw how cute!!

We took our turn getting pictures done and then it was time for the luncheon. We went to Crackers and co Cafe. It was really good. Next on the agenda was the reception. It was held in the back yard of one of Tarin's friends. It was decorated so pretty. After all the activities were over, the happy couple left for their honeymoon. : ) We wish them the best of luck!

Preparing for Eternity

Marvin and I thought we would start this blog together to keep everyone in the loop. So here is the loop : )
Marvin and I met on LDS Singles.com. I was preparing for a mission and all of a sudden I got a message from Marvin asking me if I was online for friends or a relationship. I told him I was only looking for friends to help support me. Next thing I know he is telling me that we are just looking for different things and he stops emailing me. That only lasted for about 15 min and then I get another email from him. We talked for a little bit and then I had to go to work. We decided that we would talk when I got home. All day all I could think of was Marvin and what he might be doing. That night when I got home I ran to my room to see if he was online. I tummy was full of butterfly's. We started talking around 10 and talk until 9:00 the next morning. After church we started talking again. Later that night he asked me if there was any way I would change my mind about a mission. I asked him why I would change my mind to stay home. He told me he wanted me to stay home with him. My heart was pounding but I told him that I would pray about going on a mission or beginning a relationship with him. So I said my prayers before I went to bed. By the next night I knew that my idea of serving a mission had changed to spending my life with Marvin. I know that it all happened so fast but we wouldn't trade it for anything!

On Feb 6Th Marvin took me to north mountain. We hiked, and hiked, and hiked. We finally made it to the top. You could see all of Phoenix. It was the coolest view I have ever seen. As we sat on the most uncomfortable rock ever Jeremy sat with a camera on us. I thought it was for us to make a fun movie of our day. Little did I know that Marvin was getting ready to propose. He tells me that he needs to tie his shoe. I didn't think anything of it and started watching a bug crawl on the rock. Marvin gets down on one knee and says " Sarah..... will you marry me?" I turned and said "HUH?!" He had to say it again. I didn't believe him I thought he was joking until I saw the ring. It was the most beautiful ring I have ever seen. We hiked down the mountain with permanent smiles on our faces. It was one of the happiest days of our lives! : )He has good Taste huh: )
