Mamorial Day Weekend

Out of the blue I had this wonderful idea that we should take a trip to California for memorial day. Marvin loved the idea. We got everything figured out the kids would stay with Amy and we would head out Friday after work. We finally got out of Phoenix around 6 that night and got into LA at about 1:00am. The next morning we ate breakfast and headed to six flags. There were so many people there and the lines were super long. We were tired from the drive the night before and tired of waiting in line for so long we decided our fun at the park was done and we might come back a little later that night. We walked forever to get to our car and finally we were there. Marvin decided he wanted to go look at some model homes so we did some research and head over to look at some. I could not believe how much of a price difference the house are in California compared to Arizona. We checked out the housed and then headed to get some food. We stopped at a restaurant called route 66 drive in. It was DELICIOUS!! So good and the décor was really fun to look at. The next day we did a little bit of shopping and then it was time to head back home. I was sad that our weekend was already over but I was really happy to be back home with my girls!
